hey Jersey growers I was wondering when do you usually start to grow after the winter.I start to grow when ever it goes two weeks without frosting.Im hoping this comes some where inbetween march 11th and the 20th...
Hey man. I'm in North Jersey doing my first grow this season. March seems a little early for me though, I'm putting my ladies in the ground mid to late April and my auto's in late May.
Yea it is early as hell.but if its not frosting outside and thires sunlight you are fine ...also im planing to star early so by time its mid summer it will be pretty much done
End of April i would say is the absolute earliest for a healthy seedling depending on the year. you can plant up until july and still get large yeilding plants. you can even plant late, after the days start getting shorter if you have a quick flowering plant.
I start mine in doors and find good strong moms. Once I have them I take cuttings root and veg them for a month to 7 weeks. By that time its march and I plant them outside. These plants become beasts so if you dont want them huge put them in smaller pots or train them. Mean while I get more clones going and they are ready by the end of june early july just in time to flower outdoors in the garden state. Theses grow to a perfect gorilla grow hight. dont forget to get some autos going so you can have an early harvest!! Lest make Jersey truly the garden state!!!
I like that graph. I would say to be safe maybe youwouldn't want to plant before then. no need to in my opinion. just remember that if you but plants outside at that time from 24 hr light they might get confused about what time of year it is if they are old and used to the light.
Me too.. The eariler you start, the sooner youll finish... Supposing the weather allows it. I got 3 bagseeds, germinated, in the dirt just today. I had them outside all day, and take them in at night so they dont get cold. Put them on window sill to capture early morning sunlight without the cold, then afternoon they go outside. Hopefully they will grow, and id like to have 5-9 inch plants by may-june.
