I'm still trying to find a cab... I'm probably going to have to make one out of wood. I've been searching for one of those small freezers to use. I probably won't find one, so I'll most likely end up building a 3.5' x 1.5' x 2' wooden cab. For lighting, I'm going to buy a florescent ballast and fill it up with some cool white tubes. I'm gonna get about four CFL's for each side as well. Not sure if I'll go Hydro or not... probably not. I'll most likely go with soil. But if my budget suddenly increases miraculously I may get some Hydro going. I'm planning on starting with 10 plants, then taking the top three or four females and LSTing them and killing the rest. One question I have though: Could I completely seal the box off (to reduce odor) and throw in a 10cm box fan or something to keep the air flowing and be okay? I want to reduce the odor to the point that the Pope could walk into my grow op and not notice a thing (I'm gonna also be using the homemade odor neutralizer on this forum). Or, instead of LST, should I just go SOG?
I would do LST and SOG. They're both work great and even better together. Optimal LST : Wind up your plants around small tomato cages in gallon containers using bread ties. Optimal SOG : Do a bunch. As many as you can fit. That will give you a good canopy.
