New indoor grow.

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by spw37, Mar 25, 2013.

  1. So obviously I'm new to GC and I'm new to the hole indoor game. I just got my shed built and am looking for some advice on which way to take this. The shed is 8x13 and I'm running 2 1000's, AC unit and soil. Probably looking at about 10x5 grow space. I'm thinking about going full organic but am not a 100% sure. I'm thinking about 30 plants but am also not sure. I know I want a huge harvest to pay for this investment and I want to grow fire. I'm hoping 22%thc and up. Any suggestions on Indica strains that thrive indoors would be great.
I have Dr Earth (pot of gold) but am thinking about vermafires Soil also???????

I'm going to journal this hole grow from beginning to end and keep all informed on how its doing.

Thx in advance for any suggestions and advice.

For sure FFOF !! Add a lot of perlite I dump the bag off FFOF into my mixing tote then refill the bag 35-40% with perlite ( reg size ) then get ur selfs some big an chunky perlite as well to pad out ur pots with!!! Also 30 mature plants will prob leave u no where to walk plus ur gonna want a better light spectrum Mylar/ panda film etc other then that don't be putting all the expectations u are Into ur grow ur entering a long term relationship with 30 women ( hopefully) not as easy a it sounds when u put it that way lol. Also being ur first indoor grow pick strains that are easier to work with and only run a few ur first time have 8 strains is cool but a lot of work
    Good luck

  4. Thanks 420

I wish I had the option of doing a few but I really have to go big and make it work that's why I could really use some advice on the high yield, high thc content girls. I'm going to drive down to harborside in Oakland and pic some up this weekend if they have the right strains.
My northern Cali friends have been ranting and raving about the DR earth products but it seems like most here are using the FFOF and all the dudes in the hydro stores are saying vermafire with house and garden nutes.
I have the black and white plastic (panda I think) for my walls to reflect and stop the shed walls from glowing and I was also thinging I should put it on the floor.
I have a week or so before I fire up the lights so please keep the advice coming guys.

  5. I use H&G as well but I use the cocos in soil and add a few other things but just stick with the FF trio for now its by far the easiest to work with. U can also get additives once ur on the move. As far as yields u could grow ten plants and work ur way up to thirty gals and with proper topping and lst yield the same amount u would if not more than u would with 30 1/3 of the size bud keep me posted gl

  6. U should also put another inline on the carbon filter

  7. What if I put the fan on top of the filter. the fan pushes a whole lot more than it pulls???

  8. That would b better then where it's at now ya but in the future get another one still

  9. Flip the filter hot air rises and so dose the smell

I like canna PK 13/14 great for bulk AN overdrive great finisher

UV lighting will cause your plants to produce more trichs as well get that shit frosty

Your fan should pull through the filter it is much better for your fan

  14. I mean I looked like that plant has a low N count and needs just a little and will green back up IMO the tips yellowing a little but in the pic

I knew it you had to be a contractor that's where I learned how to roll a cord up and not ever have a tangle lol I'm in WA do t think the commute will pay off in the end lol

  15. The soil in those pots is Alaskan hummus and I didn't flush the soil before transplant so I think it burned them a little.
