I am considering getting Phantom or Lumatek electronic digital ballasts for my grow room. When looking at the Phantom ballasts I also came across these Powerhouse "premium" ballasts by Hydrofarm. I have found very little info on the net about them, so I was wondering if anyone here has heard or used these ballasts. They have 400 & 1,000 watt convertible versions that can be used w/MH & HPS bulbs. Funny though, they don't seem to have the 600 watt model that I'm looking for as it only is for HPS lamps (not MH). Not making sense why they don't have a 600 watt convertible, as this size is extremely popular and the most efficient. Guess they might come out w/that model soon I hope. My take is it's supposed to be even better then the Phantom model ballasts Hydrofarm has.
