I just made this today out of a piece of redwood I found outside. I have not used it yet cuz Im gonna give it to my friend for his birthday. It is about 4 in. long. I also soaked it in olive oil for a while and dried it off to get it that glisteny/darker finish. The stuff in the bowl is copper wire...Im using it as a screen. How does it look?
pretty sweet dude. the copper wire throughs me off since screens are soo cheap but still pretty raw good work.

I'd carve the bowl bigger... or throw in a metal bowl for looks But thats just me... its funny since I made one of these almost exactly the same back in the day... Nice piece
Take apart an iPod earbud and inside theres a sturdy metal screen thats perfect for that. Happy toking
Nice piece man. I'd make the bowl just slightly bigger. Like someone said before, the screen from a set of headphones works great.
