Hello to everyone from Raleigh/Durham, NC. I have always loved plants - especially ones that can heal you. I finally went out to they Hydroponics Store and made the move that I have been putting off for over 8 years...I bought ALL pieces of equipment for a decent indoor grow tent. I am new to this so I need some direction...I have put my tent together and that fits perfect (obviously) but I don't know where to go from here. I just invested in a Secret Jardin Darkstreet II DS90, Hurricane Inline Fan (4in), 6 inches of ducting with clamps, reflector (sun system yield master air cooled - 6 inch), Nanolux OG Ballast 400W, Optilume HPS 400W, Botanicare Coco Block 5 KG, several 3 gallon nursery pots, duct reducer (6 inch to 4 inch), ProGrip/SunGrip Light Hanger, Timer, Pruning Shears, nutrients, etc. I would greatly appreciate any help/tips/advice. What is the most logical way to set this up? Am I missing any key pieces of equipment? Thanks so much guys and gals. T
You would wanna start with a metal halide lamp at first for veg then switch to hps for bloom Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Grasscity Forum mobile app
You want to air coming in tbe bottom..(cool air).and for air moving out/outake it shud b...(scrubber,which idt u said u had one)then inline fan, then yur cool tube, ducting leading to yur vent at top of tentless ducting as possible, and not to many bends and turns n ducting

You have seeds, ph meter, carbon filter, temp/rh (room humidity), timer, duct tape and nutes? Spray bottle comes in handy too along with some measurement spoons and a 5 gallon bucket. I like how you already got some trimers

Help! So the guy at the store told me to have my ducting go up through the roof hole, connect with a reducer (6 inch ducting, 4 inch inline fan) and have the fan sit atop the reducer.... problem is that with the fan sits on top of the reducer which sits in the roof hole it's so heavy that the reducer and ducting fall right through and into the tent.... what do I do?
If u really want to add a fan after the light use a duct fan.$35 home depot, fits directly to flexible ducting
I understand that that's how a lot of people do it… But I talked to the guy at the store and he said that because of circumstances such as where I'm trying to put the tent, etc. that I have to do it this way… The picture that you see is what I was trying to describe… I don't know if I have the right tools with me decide about the way you said… I do have a filter but it's rather large so how what I mounted… The guy at the store said to have that sit on the floor and then have the ducting go from there into the air cooled reflector on the other side of the reflector the doctor would go up through the ceiling to the reducer and into the exhaust fan which would blow out the air
