New high output qb324 boards out.

  1. 320 watt 2x4 or 2.5 x 5 rated coverage fixture for $425 unassembled in 2850k.

Perfect for getting the most out of your 2x4 for sure. Probably have to dim it a bit. Two of these in a 4x4 would be absolutely unbelievable. 650 or so max watts available and more diodes per square foot then any previous setup.

  2. I can't find any info on these boards. The spectrum chart says nichia. I'm wondering if that's the base led instead of samsung. I'm pretty sure they are because samsung isn't referenced. It says a mix of 80cri and 90cri.

  3. Exciting to have a board with a new diode in the mix.

  4. yep nichia , mix of CRI seems like a gimmick to me, but the optics are something that I have been waiting for since they QBs came out. very cool

No the s6 diodes are samsung. That's what HLG has been using for over a year now. The s5 was the bin they used in their first products. It's the samsung lm561c s6. Annoyingly long model number.

Like I said earlier they are using Nichia diodes I'm pretty sure but I don't even know specifically which ones because they don't list the model in the specs. There's very little info on the qb324. I assume a review will show up in the next couple of weeks on youtube but as of now there's not even spec charts like you see with hlg's other boards. They aren't even selling only boards of the qb324 anywhere I can find.

It's just too new. They only have two fixtures they're selling at the moment. It's been a few days since they showed up on the net. I'm sure more info is coming soon.

  6. Looking at the spectrum chart above I posted earlier. It has a graph for the HLG 300 which is a samsung lm561c s6 based product. The blue line is the new nichia diode. It appears to have slightly less blue, slightly less middle spectrum, but significantly more further red spectrum. That should result in better flower growth.

I'm really enjoying the boards I got a few weeks back, The Girls are loving them. They are bright!
running them with a HLG-320H-C1400B per 2 boards. Using 100k ohm potentiometers for dimming. I have 2 extra boards for veg along with my old Meizhi 600W these babies replaced.

Still need to set them up abit nicer once my additional hangers show up.

Since I took these photos I have spread the lights out more, they cover a huge area.

  8. You're running 4. What size space do you have them in? I think they're good for 4x4 to 4.5x4.5 or so with 4 boards for flower.

  9. it's a 4x4 right now but you could run a 5x5 with these. I could throw in 2 more boards and just fill up the whole room but then I wouldn't be able to work.

  10. 4x4 is more then enough for personal. That's the size bud room that I run. I know you can get up to 2 pounds out of one. I also run a separate veg room. That means I can harvest the bud room about every 10 weeks. 1-2 pounds every 10 week is a serious amount of bud supply for personal consumption. =)

  11. No reason to go 5x5 unless you're trying to make money. It takes almost 60% more power to fill a 5x5. It's amost 60% more square footage. 16 square foot compared to 25. You can get 3-4 pounds out of a 5x5 with skill.

  12. This stuff is so obsessive its not even funny.
