Wow so many haters. Halo is one of the best FPS out there. PERIOD. I can't wait for odst, it's going be so fucking badass! I heard that the price is going be under 40 dollars. not bad.
Quit pretending Halo is the greatest FPS ever made. It's a terrible FPS. Far Cry 2 is a better FPS game. The only thing, THE ONLY THING that Halo has going for it is the multiplayer, and that went down hill with each game. I still prefer the original Halo multiplayer to Halo 2 or 3. Crap game overall, fanboys begone.
I think you're all forgetting Goldeneye when it comes to revolutionary FPSs. Halo had a good run though.
Far cry is a shit game. I hate it! Halo is far superior then other fps games out there besides cod4. Halo 3 is one of the best multiplayers out there, period. Its unique. Tell me why you guys hate halo?? don't tell me, its the storyline. we all know it sucks after halo 1. Same thing over and over again.
No,people hate halo because you can jump 15 feet high, it takes 500 bullets to kill someone, theres a bunch of screaming 5 year olds..... Oh, did they take down live support for halo 2??
Halo 3 is worse than Halo 2. They added too many items that broke the game dynamic. Halo 2 was a decent game if you played in MLG settings (battle rifle start, no radar, some other stuff I forget). My friends and I played competitively, so trust me I know my Halo. We used to play with the Ogre twins, if you know what that means at all. Halo 1 was the shit, even if xbox connect sucked, and Halo 2 was still good when you played MLG. But Halo 3 honestly doesn't stack up to better FPS's out there. It really disappointed me. Also, COD4 sucks. It's the same fucking game as COD 1-3, but a bunch of bro's with 360's went out and discovered video games for the first time with it because it had decent graphics, and are touting it as the best game ever. Online multiplayer sucks because it's an RPG, and there's not even any fucking recoil on the guns, how can you say it takes skill? COD4 players suck ass when put up against a real FPS player, like Quake or Unreal players. I'll probably get flamed for this from a bunch of FPS newbs who think COD4 is the best game evar and jack off to their 360's, but whatever. I know my shit, I used to play competitively.
