High fellow growers back again for another question hopefully someone can answer. The new growth has a lot of white in the bud sites is that a problem and have burnt tips this is a "khalifa kush". 7 weeks in veg for her waiting for big bud to get another week before flipping. 2 240 actual watts from led light is 22 inches from canopy pH is around 6 water about every 4 days feed half of what fox farms suggest every other watering and using ffof 2x4x5 grow tent 73-78 temp RH 53 Any info would help. Thanks
new growth is always lighter when it first grows ,,they will green up as the next new leaves come through if they come through lighter ,lift your light a bit higher as then it could be the light bleaching them ,,,but i cant see that happening on your plants ,,,mac,
completely normal i may see slight nute burn on some tips but nothing worth worrying about, if you want you can get a ppm and ph run off reading just to insure the soils good and they arent retaining nutrients but i wouldnt find that necessary either.
Thanks Grobuddy I have checked before on another grow and I always had around 2500 for ppms although I would feed them where they belong at 5 week and the pH is around 7-7.5. Still dont know why ppms run that high.
I grow in fox farm both happy frog and ocean forest. happy frog is lighter in organic nutes ocean forest is heavy. without giving nutes just ocean forest i read a 1,300 ppm with a early veg at 3 weeks counting the 2 week seedling period. why I usually start out in happy frog then transplant into ocean forest. this past grow i didnt started in ocean forest and I havent seen any negative effects normally i show signs of nute burns or toxicity when i start in ocean forest, normally its too hot for seedlings. your ppms are stacking up because your feeding them more than they can eat. ocean forest feeds for 4 to 6 weeks so they were getting food from the soil then more from the suppliments. personally i get a ppm and ph reading from the run off and i dont add nutes until the ppm level drops below my perfered level. when i do drop below that level i only add enough nutes to get the number im looking for usually start with just calmag then when the full dose of calmag doesnt suffice i add big bloom then grow big. i follow a ppm grow chart 300-400ppms first part of veg 450-700ppms second part of veg 750-950ppms first part of flower 1,000-1,600 ppms second part of flower. also the ph is hindering you from absorbing all the nutrients you can 6.0 to 7.0 is the recommened ph for cannabis i actually start germ out with 5.8 then gradually raise it until i get to 6.5 thats the number i like growers preference how close to 6 or 7 they are. ph plays a big part in your root system
Ok Thanks grobuddy I had read that happy frog was the one with higher nutes in it . Guess I will get some of that also for the first transplant then put them in ffof in a 5 gal. I am surprised that fox farm says to put 2-3 tbls of there products in the ocean forest seems like that would pretty much lock out the root system. Thanks for the info have a great time . Good luck with your grow. Oh yea just germinated a white rhino finally after 15 seeds and that and 2 big buds are on the next plate. Thats why I am concerned like to get white rhino growing and clone a few. I need to becareful there at 3 leafs now so I need to get themout of solo cups here in a few days need some easy soil. Thanks again.
big bloom contains no minerals unlike grow big and tiger bloom. so you can get away with the larger dose being big bloom is all organic decomposing material. still not recommending the 4 table spoons just saying you can get away a bit more with that suppliment.
