ok ill try this again.. couldnt post pics before. soil is a generic potting mix with pearlite , worm castings , and som bat poop( small amount) plant started growing fine, but now it seems like growth has slowed and is coming in yellow and curled. anywon have an idea???
Over fertilized. The soil mix is too hot. There's a chance it could grow through this predicament if you thoroughly flush your soil and subsequently giving just plain water ever watering once the soil has dried out a bit. Another option would be to transplant into a a lighter soil mix, but there's a chance that it might not take to well to the transplanting especially since it's not in great health. For future reference, it helps to start your seeds/seedlings in a very light soil. Preferably a non time-released-fertilizing potting soil mixed with at least 20-40% perlite or similar amendment. This allows for good drainage and the right amount of nutrients for a young plant. Additional fertilizers like guano, compost or worm casting are better used in the transplant mix, meaning once your seedling has established a good root structure and the vegetative stage is under way, you amend the soil that will be used to transplant the seedling into with these fertilizers. Similarly you can layer your pots or soil bed with the more fertilized soil deeper in the pot and the light soil on top. Hope this helps. Good Luck.
it actually helps alot. havent watered in a few thinking it was too much water before it started turning yellow, so soil is dry enough to try a transplant. ill try to disturb roots as little as possible. hope this works.. thanks again for your assistance and ideas--- stay frosty----
