New Growth Clawing / Curling (HD PICS)

  1. I posted a thread 2 days ago but I had pictures taken with my Galaxy S4 so they weren't very good. I took pictures with my DSLR and now you can clearly see the plant;

  2. PH around 6 so it is not a PH problem as suggested in previous thread by another member.Sent from my SGH-I337M using Grasscity Forum mobile app

  3. No issue here as yet, see it as particular to this strain, twisting and circling of the leaves

    I recall the other member in the other thread saying it "might" be a tad low. I would take that as speculation rather than a suggestion. But, since we're on the subject, I'll go out on a limb and speculate that it might possibly be a diminutive amount of P nutrient uptake, because according to this chart @ ph of 6 you'll be on the low end of missing that nutrient. And, had you offered this information before or at least have filled out the form like we ask folks to do this could have received a better resolution. Oh well, observe below:

I didn't know about the form I guess I should have read up.Thank you for all the given information. Ill adjust and go from there. I am working with the test strips, I guess I should just go and spend the 60 bucks on a meterSent from my SGH-I337M using Grasscity Forum mobile app

    Phosphorus gets locked out of Hydro and Soil less Mediums at pH levels of 6.0-8.5.

  7. So what should i PH at? 5.8?Sent from my SGH-I337M using Grasscity Forum mobile app

  8. Yes, 5.8, so if you're going to continue to grow in hydro you should purchase the meter. It wouldn't hurt to get a combo so you can at least measure ph and ppm's and ec. I finally, after many years of cultivation purchased one myself. I grow in soil, indoors and out and do well with the strips. When you get your meter you can test it against the strips and vice-versa.

    The two principal methods of measuring total dissolved solids are gravimetry and conductivity. Gravimetric methods are the most accurate and involve evaporating the liquid solvent and measuring the mass of residues left. This method is generally the best, although it is time-consuming. If inorganic salts comprise the great majority of TDS, gravimetric methods are appropriate.
    Electrical conductivity of water is directly related to the concentration of dissolved ionized solids in the water. Ions from the dissolved solids in water create the ability for that water to conduct anelectrical current, which can be measured using a conventional conductivity meter or TDS meter. When correlated with laboratory TDS measurements, conductivity provides an approximate value for the TDS concentration, usually to within ten-percent accuracy.

  10. This may not be a nute deficiency. It could be a pest I just recently heard about called broad mites. Google it and click the link for icmag.com. there is almost 200 pages with info on this. It's a nasty little fucker.Sent from my SM-N900P using Grasscity Forum mobile app
