New Growth After Topping/fimming?

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by Electus Unus, May 23, 2013.

  1. So i topped one of my plants a week or so ago, and its got a lot of new growth. About 4 or 5 days ago I topped two more plants and they dont seem to be showing nearly as much new growth as the first one (at 4-5 days)

Why would these be taking so much longer to show new growth? I can see the new nodes just beginning to form but like i said, they are taking a long time to produce.

Are they the same strain as the first plants you topped?

  3. your one plant could just be stronger than the other two.

good point one plant could be stronger than the other 2.
but has the fastest growing plant got more
leaves closer to the light than the other 2 plant
if so move the two closer to the light
and move the faster growing plant
couple of inches away from the light
them the other 2 plants should start growing quicker
and you will end up with a more even canopy

  5. I adjust  how high my plants are by adding tiles or such under them to raise them to the height i want. They're all even level. And it doesnt bother me that the two are taller, I'm going to LST them. My concern, is the new growth taking a long time.

*the new growth is now about 3-4mm long where i topped both plants. they seemed to have picked up speed just through the day :) *

    still draggin though
