Hiya, i have grown once before that was just a windowsill job but then outside when it got to big moved it outside. I am just starting a new grow i have germinated them, well one at the moment i have it under 2 40watt clfs which i hope is ok when they have just sprouted I can not understand which nutes to use and stuff and help in simplten terms??
I think this is a bad poll because you dont want to get your answer to your light question from us. Depending on your ventilation, you need to decide whats the best distance by starting at 3-4 inches and moving in, making sure your plants dont show signs of heat abuse. I cannot be much help with nutes, however sounds like you have some time to figure that out as most people dont recomend nuting babies if your a newbie.
thanks i will just leave it without nutes ye im looking around the net at all different growing techniques but i will learn hopefully are the lights ok tho?? BTW good site good infomation
Nice to see another uk grower. I am just in the begining of my first grow and am starting with flo's then changing to 400w hps when the time comes. The lights look ok for the time but i would surgest getting a hps or mh light set up soon. Also the hight of your existing lights looks to be fine but make sure there close enough because if you dont the stem will tend to stretch. On the other hand as said before in this post,dont get the lamps to close or it will burn your ladys,not so much flo's but when using hps or mh you will need to be alot more carefull were you situate the lamp(s) Its all about trial and error so have a little experiment with you lamp hight and get it to what works the best for you and your grow area. Thanks again for the fast responce time on my post Yep another uk grower The thing is i am only growing them in my bedroom u know in the corner sort of unstill i get my own house. i have spoke to my mum and she said that it is fine to do this for a little while but not for long. my light will they not be ok through out the growing cycle i know the sodium bulbs r bttr and all but i am just doing it in my bedroom. last part is it ok to have them in the sun light in the uk in the day if it a ncie day?? save electric mums always going on about it thought that might save a little Sorry last part now as u live in the uk do u know any where i can get a higher watter of the cfls i went to B&Q but they didnt have any Cheers will
