Update About Advertising on Grasscity Important: A New Chapter for Grasscity

    Hello, I'm a new poster to this board but I've been reading the board for a few weeks now. I quit smoking in June to look for a job (Still haven't gotten one) and just to take a break because I couldn't afford to smoke multiple times during the day anymore. Sorry about the rant but I decided to try to grow to give me a hobby to do, so I have a few questions.

    1. How many seeds should I put in a foam/party cup after germination?
    2. I know female plants that are growing are a good sign, but what if I a male plant is growing, what should I do?
    3. I have some seeds that I got from my cousin, but I also have some seeds from 3-4 months ago, can I still use those?

    I may have more questions just not right now, any help is appreciated.

    1. 1 seed per cup / or 1 plant per grow medium. Don't try to double up they will just die.

    2.Get rid of it, and fast. Male plants produce pods which contain plant spunk. If this plant spunk gets out of the pod and on top a female plant it will turn the female to a male. (1 male plant in a room full of females will ruin the whole crop):mad:

    3.Seeds should be dark in colour and hard when squeezed between the fingers. If they are light in colour and crack when pressed they are already dead.

    Thanks for the advice! I got a few more questions too.

    1. After how many weeks should I wait til' I transfer the plant from the foam cup to a pot? And is there a certain kind of pot I should use?
    2. When should I fertilize the plant and what kind of fertilizer should I use?

    no.... it doesnt turn it into a male it will just make it have seeds and lower the THC in ur bud and it wont be as potent. but ya 1 male plant can ruin a lot of females
