hey guys here is my plant.. i dont know what strain it is.... its 6 weeks old right now, running on 18/6 lighting schedual i have (2) 2700 lumen bulbs on it soil is potting soil w/ some mirical grow any suggestions would be appreciated and i will post picks ever week from now on.. thanks!! in also in the process if building a grow box that will be 5x3x5 and i have a large grow light that will be installed in there.. I will post pictures of the box within the next few days!
what kind of light will you be installing in the future grow box? if it's an hid make sure you plan for ventilation. i bought a cabinet from home depot (4' wide x 6.5' tall x 30" deep) w/ a 400w hps/mh and i thought that one inline exhaust fan at the top would be enough. WRONG! i had to install another inline fan at the bottom pulling in cool air and it still gets 80 + degrees in there. if your using cfl's and floro tubes heat won't be as much of an issue but ventilation is still important. you said your using miracle grow? is that MG ferted soil or just MG plant food? if it's the soil either ditch it for something without nutes or cut/dilute it with regular soil as MG soil full strength is asking for trouble (i know i know, i've got several posts in other threads praising MG soil but i've kicked it for fully organic soil mixed by yours truly). oh yea, and read as many of the stickies and grow guides as you can... tons and tons of info. good luck and have fun! also i've been using foxfarm nutes and they make a HUGE difference, and they aren't that expensive.
