alright so this is my first real grow decided to go hydro. its been about 23 days now my plants have been vegging. id say they are about 8-9 inches tall. im receiving my 400 watt hps on monday (feb 5) that will make it 25 days veggin. now should i throw them into flowering under my hps of should i continue to veg them? would it be worth my while to try and scrog them? it would be my first time trying i have a pretty good idea of how to do it im just wondering if i waited to long cuz the stems are pretty thick. also if i cant scrog it would i be able to top my plants and veg them for another week or 2 under the hps them flower them? or did i wait too long to top my plants??
Have you been fimming them all along? If not, you probably won't have enough budding sites to go into flowering yet.
just one plant for about a week and a half. its my first time and i didnt want to fuck up all my plants. but now i noticed the 2 main tops on the plant i did. and i want it on all of my planst. and i think youre right i definately dont have enough bud sites to start flowering yet.
