new grower help advice

Discussion in 'Hydroponic Growing' started by demianw, Aug 4, 2021.

  1. ok so new grower did some poor planning and im now over crowded.
auto flower 18 hr on 6 off. drip/aeroponic in rockwool and recirculating reservoir.
pic has 2 plants, both germinated same time. 39 days. left side is overcrowding and dwarfing right side.
right side is maybe 30% of picture so very dwarfed growth. flowering on right also seems about a week behind. nutrients being used now are flowering as opposed to the veg.
left side is about 10 days into flowering.

since they are autos i read just let them ride out the 18 on light schedule for the entire grow.
now im worried about height and space.

wondering if i change to 12 on/off will they be less likely to hit the light?

should i pull the right side? only a few bud sites. gc.jpg

  2. When my autos go wild I separate them with wire screen or tie back with thick string.
You can also cut off transgressing branches.

  3. Yeah i would pull the lesser one.

  4. They are gonna fight for light and end up costing you yield at the end probably.
Pull one, LST the the other and increase the lights to 20/4.

  6. Good deal. You won't even notice it's gone in a couple weeks
Set the other outside if you can
