was going to build 3 boxes 4x4x8 400watts each with changable MH to HPS bulbs,mylar lined,cloning shelf,decided to do 2boxes.. 4 strands- NLxBB,WW,AK48,B52....want to run them in cycles..how long can i veg in MH, how high do i let them get,is the 400w going to do it? im looking for feedback anyone?
Well, first I suggest you read up a bit more on the foums. There is plenty of info here to answer these questions and the ones you haven't thought of yet. As for vegging it depends on your strain and really just how long you want to mature it before flowering. Height is up to your preference (given training/topping/etc) Like I said read up more on exactly what you want to do before doing it, especially if you plan on running 3 cabs. 400w is spreading the light too thin for your intended space. try to keep it at 50w a square foot
