New Grow/ Sun?

  1. Okay. I've tried growing before and was never really successful :/.
This year I have a new project . I have one plant which is about a month old . It's about 6-7 inches tall.
I water every couple of days when the ground around it feels dry. I have it in a place where it only gets a few
hours of sun a day because of trees etc around it. My question is, is only a few hours not enough?
This kind of scares me because the location that it's in is convient, plus it's in the ground
so I'm would perfer leaving it where it is. But if I have to then I will move it somewhere with better sun. Most people say they néed lots of sun but others say little is enough. It looks healthy but I'm still kind of sketchin about it.
    Any help would be great

  2. more light=more energy=more growth

I'm not sure what the bottom threshold is for light per day but I would say that at least four hours of direct sunlight to give you some buds. Never experienced that situation though so maybe someone else has done a shady grow
