Ok, I just got two seedlings from a friend, 7 and 5 days old!!! I have 3 cfl's on them at the moment(cool white)!! The problem is that they are way way taller than most I have seen on here! Would put pictures but don't have a cam!! Wat should I do to stabalize the situation. Is it ok to just grow them this way?
Oh I forgot to add good info....the older one only has its 1st set of leaves(not the seedling leaves) and is maybe 4 inches tall......seems crazy tall!!
sounds like the stretched a bit.Not much you can do now except learn to lst(low stress train).Keep your light as close to them as you can without burning them.
dont over water and put your lights as close as possible to the plants with out touching, a small fan blowing on them will help to strengthen the stems ( they are most likely a little weak from stretching) but dont blow them over! just a gentle breeze at first
