Ok heres my stuff: Room-2.5'W x 1.5'D x 6'H / Bagseed / Lights- (4)26w CFL and (2)20w CFL. Ive got three more 14w bulbs and a 15watt that Im going to place in the bottom corners for when the canopy gets big, i may possibly use more lights. / Soil is just miracle grow potting soil / For air I have a large cpu fan blowing air over the plants keeping the temperature range at 78-83 degrees. Heres the closet Plant#1 close and back Plant#2 close and back Plant#3 back...(sorry no close up) The plants are 15 days old and are starting to get the 4th set of leaves under the 3rd. I love these little sprouts, Im just hoping for girls! Just comment with anything, good/bad?
The good -You got seeds sprouted -Nice set of CFLs. -You've got a fan. The bad -CFLs are not ment to be packed together like that. No closer then 4 inch of each other. -No reflectors for your CFLs. You're not planning on growing on the ceiling now are you? -The way you've got that CFL clump dangling from a coat hanger on a wire is asking for trouble. Nail a few planks together, mount the CFLs on the planks, get proper wiring on there, hook the whole thing up with a chain to the ceiling and you good as gold!
Thanks urgr8estfear! I completely forgot about reflectors, i may just use the soda can method for the clf. The wiring is done well but I can see why theres some concern. cheers mate
Looks great n all but where do you get those sockets where you screw the light bulb into are they expensive??
S2THEM- You can buy sockets at most electical or hardware shops but since im using CFLs i just took the screw base off the bulb and wired all the bulbs in a series. I believe OG had a tut. for it. Id explain it better but im cut short with time for now.
