Well I'm on my 2nd grow since the first one didn't go so hot, and everything has been going fine until about 2 weeks ago one of my plants started exhibiting signs of distress. It has started getting brown spots on the leaves, a great many of them, and just recently even the healthier ones, or the ones that do not have many spots, have been breaking off with barely a touch. I can't really tell but it seems like they may smell a bit funny at the breaks as well. I've been monitoring the nutriets with a meter and I'm in the middle of ideal, and the PH has been around 5.5, which I realize is a little low, but I was down to 4 on my original grow and the plant didn't do this. As you can see from the pictures the leaves end up turning dark brown/blackish and fall off eventually. It seems to be getting worse so I'm not sure if I need to remove it and trash it from the other 2 plants that are doing great and showing none of the same signs. My other thought is maybe I watered it too much and it is rotting? Out of the 3 this one had some issues with draining from the pot so I'm concerned maybe I gave it root rot, but I don't know how that looks on cannabis. The stems and healthy leaves are still firm and sturdy. Any ideas what might be wrong? Thanks
I've had this happen in grows in the past and have yet to find out what it was. Wondering if it has to do with temps or humidity. Are you in a dry state?
I mist them twice a day and keep them in a grow tent with an 8" duct fan venting, They don't seem dry. But no the humidity is pretty high in the southeast.
Do you have the lights on when you mist? the lights could burn the leaves. Although it looks too dark for that.. i would flush just to make sure.
