new grow box (loads of pics)

just thought i'd post some pics of my new grow box took around 6 hours to make using stuff i had lying around the house

last 2 pics for now i will post more when i start my grow journal using critical mass seeds and using 3 envirolites for veg then 5 for the flowering period

 

yes i have tested the system i have a splitter connection inside the unit to spread the nutes over the full surface...the pump i am using is adjustable so i can turn the flow up or down accordingly ..ventilation will be made ising 2 desktop fans and the doors will be kept open most of the time until flowering then i will be adding fixed fans to the set up so the doors can be closed if needed i having been growing in this room for a few years and the smell isn't an issue as i have an extractor fan fitted in the roof which sucks the smell straight up into the loft and out through the roof


thanks for looking and i hope i've answered your questions hopefully this system will work well it's a shame i have to use seeds as no clones were available but i do believe these seeds to be from a good source "lol" and i have a northern lights cutting and hopefully some critical mass cuttings ready for its second outing

well my seeds turned up on saturday (20 critical mass) all of them were germinated using paper towel and placed in the rockwool on sunday out of the 20 seeds 19 have sprouted so all 16 spaces in the set up will be used as of today 9 of them have poked out of the rockwool so everything is looking good

i will start a journal as soon i get round to taking some pics

 

i just thought i'd mention that the seeds i'm using haven't come from a shop they have come from someone i know who breeds and sells good seeds alot cheaper than you will get them through a seedbank so if anyone wants to
know where they can get Critical Mass seeds just like mine then give me a
shout and I will point you in the right direction.

 

just a quick update

the set up now seems to be working fine after a few teething problems, controling the flow of water became an issue as it waqs pumping too much water into the tray which resulted in 8 out of the 16 seeds getting root rot and dying the other 8 seem to be coping fine so we will carry on and see how it turns out after this first go i will be using cuttings which will obviously be better as at the mo i don't know how many females i will be left with
