  1. Hello everyone! I have just started my 4th grow and i would like to share the experience with everyone.

A picture of the grow cabinet. The grow cabinet has two doors and two bottom drawers.

A picture of the exhaust vaccum made of a piece of pvc pipe with a blue end cap which i've cut a hole the size of the fan's opening and crazy glued the computer fan to the end cap. Then i've cut a square hole in the back wall of the cabinet for the fan to fit in and the end cap is flat against the back wall. I've tied a piece of string around the pvc pipe which i then hooked to the cabinet ceiling to hold the assembly.

  2. Very nice and neat, good luck man.

  3. Very nice work dude..Looks like a decent place to grow, nice setup

  4. nice setup man... got a couple questions though..(im sure you know what our doing though since its ur 4th time)...
is this a new set-up??i ask cause i was wondering if the little cracks of light i see re big enough to distrub the plant when its in dark period.

also, i saw you have exhuast fan, but do you have anywhere to intake fresh air??or do you just pull it through the cracks??/

thanks and hopefully i didnt sound like a knowitall

  5. yeah this is a new setup i built due to lack of space. i have a 430w hps setup as well but i don't use it anymore because i just moved into a small appartment. so this one is still in developement. i still haven't figure exactly what to use to complete the grow cabinet. i'm thinking of adding plexy glass from one side to the other underneath the exhaust vaccum and the hps. then i would make a intake hole on the right side of the hps (opposite of exhaust vaccum), which would draw air into the upper chamber accross the hps (which would cool it down), and then be sucked out by the exhaust vaccum.

here is a basic drawing of what i intend to do. what do you think? any ideas?

  6. Hi uncleherb,

Nice little closet you got there.
You may need to make the cabinet a little more light-proof I think, but the biggest worry I see with this setup is not burning the tops of your plants as they get 1 or 2 feet tall.

25 Celcius at the lowest point of your plant may be a bit too high.
Its OK for now but in a few weeks time your plant maybe smoking its own tops off.... ;)

Do you have any thoughts on that?

  7. hey,
nice little diagram u drew, just a little thoguth that isnt that major,

i see the positions of the intake is good for cooling down the light, but i think thereshould be another intake down at the bottom for giving the plants fresh air..this will also strenthen their stems!!
