hey guys i got 3 new grinders recently. i got them cheap at a flea market. so wasnt expecting much, there are black stains in all the ridges and on the teeth and edges. (i didnt notice when i was buying them) i thought it was just dirt so i cleaned them vigourosly, but instead of getting better they got worse and the stains are more promonont now. the grinder is metal, most likely aluminium. does anyone have any idea what this is????? peace,one love, Dave. Sounds like the aluminum is oxidizing. Honestly, I'd throw them out. Aluminum isn't something you want to fuck with, and if they're already in shitty shape who's to say you won't end up with aluminum shavings in your ground up bud? Now that would be a huge problem.
I got one from a flea market with lead paint. I guess some of the lead paint flaked off into the bud. My friend and I smoked a bowl and he started having a seizure and puked from combusting the lead paint
