I have a 250gb Harddrive which I got from China (was 1/2 the price) Will I have any problems with it and this hack?

yeah, but for people who want to use it as an entertainment system? this is going to take off. you can play emulators and now that its worth its time, people will finish coding ps1 and n64 emulators it will probably take off like the xbox 1 emulator did, and its going to make them push units until the next gen platform comes out. after gears 3 they really dont have anything to roll with. a successful model would look something like a new launch, and a few companies that want to produce a game, and be in it for the long run.
Also allows for custom code to be imported situated in C++ which also runs as a base of the 360, terminal code still used which means you can erase and import to create mods,hacks, and what not. I hosted custom 10th prestige and infection lobbies in MW2 for clients who paid me in Microsoft Points. I still have like 11k MSP hahahaha. Shit's old now, though, I sold my 360 JTAGGED with a new Xena motherboard for $410 because it had the Elit'es physical frame with a few custom LED's but the original internal processor.
they have halo 4 5 and 6 to milk the xbox 360 with until halo is done no new xbox which sucks because we needed a new xbox 2 years ago, its really starting to show

I think they are waiting for the cloud gaming thing to develop more before they release new consoles. I bet next gen consoles will have you paying a sub fee for all the games you pay and you never actually own a physical copy
me neither but that is the direction its moving in imo because of piracy and the amount of money it would save for the publishers. And I know cloud gaming exists.
expect when you update it online, microsoft blocks all xboxlive service to your xbox, and too many people, me included thats too high of a price, I own my 360 for like over 3 years now, and all i got is like 11 games. Compared to the number thats out for this system, thats nothing. no thanks, i like my xboxlive
I disagree, I like having a physical off line game copy that I can play, internet can go down and shit, or servers can crash... I doubt microsoft would do that
This hack will not be compatible with any xbox that connects to LIVE. And lets face it, why even have an xbox if your not going to have LIVE?
well, for one thing, they were able to play jtags online for a little while. and for another... this could be the best media device ever made! for entertainment and for gamers. when you can stream movies, music and television shows, and on top of that, you get a whole collection of classic games on one machine, with a great controller?! it might be worth picking up a slim just to do this. it will be a hell of a purchase for 200 dollars. 170 used
this would all be a lot easier to understand if i was high...programming/hacking gets boring when im sober :S
I know it bores me to death when I'm sober but programming is just like another language, once you master it it's gets easy and you can create things fluently.
I may consider this.. I'd love to hack my xbox once the warranty expires (December). I hardly get online and when I do it's usually to download shit, so if I can get that free I wouldn't have to worry anway.
