  1. so my sister borrowed my bong a few nights ago. and being the only bong in the house, I was cool with it.
and figuring that she managed to break her bong earlier last month, I that she would be more careful. because it really was just a fluke. my nephews bong took out her bong. he was burly, hers was smaller and whimpy.  the next day she came out of her bedroom nearly in tears holding my bong. a cup had fallen off of her tv stand in her room and landed on the stem of my bong. shattering it.

the next day, after I managed to pry the rest of the stem out of the bong, she took it to the local head shop to try and find a new one. but unfortunately, they didn't have one that fit.  I have to find a custom blower for it.  so she bought me a new one. its a medium purple empire tube, locally blown. which is awesome!

  2. Thats really cool man, your sister is a good person for replacing it like that. Id smoke her out because of that if I was you.

  3. Where did you get Woodstock?

  4. I got Woodstock in South Sioux city, Nebraska. And ya, I do try to smoke her out when she lets me. She doesn't smoke very often.

Quick review on the tube. It hits really smooth. I was a little Leary at first because the size of the defuser holes where quite a bit large then Woodstock. Plus Woodstock had 16 small holes as apposed to 6 some what large holes. But it actually work well with the shap of the tube.

As for how thick the hits are; It doesn't seem to choke me out as much as Woodstock. But I can still get pretty saticfiying hits.

Cleaning wise it's a breeze. The stem is a straight 14mm. and the large hole by the defuser hole is large enough for me to just dump epsome salt , and alcohol. Shake, and it's all clean. No need to remove the stem.

Added pluses ( for me at least ): it has a rubber grommet around the stem. Which I feel reduces shock when taking accidental bumps from thing like over enthusiastic passing between friends.

And it's local blown. That's a huge plus for me. I like being able to support local blowers.

Big con: much much easier to forget to draw slow and get a mouthful of bong water. I had no issue with this with Woodstock. One way to combat hurling is to keep the water clean and changes often. Also the diameter of the tube is smaller then standard ice cub trays.

Overall it's a good replacement bong.

    :baked:
