New downstem, too long

    Just purchased a new diffused left coast downstem since I broke my previous one, and it's barely too long. Is there anything I can buy such as a 1 inch 14.4 to 14.4 extension adapter? I currently have a couple layers of clear tape around the downstems ground glass part, and this makes it a tight fit, but I don't like using tape on my nice glass.

    Your gonna have to chip a little off the tip.

    dont use it at all and return it dude.
    if theres any res in it they wont take it back, or if it smells like smoke.
    if you did use it give it an iso wash.
