  2. why the s series intel chip? i havent really looked into them but i heard all they do is under volt them so they run with less power which usually isnt a problem. what are planning on using your computer for? video editing? games? etc. because most of the time an i7 is over kill for most processes. and im guessing you already have an atx case? one other thing is I would change motherboards. $190 is steeeeeep for a mother board.

    Newegg.com - ASRock Z77 Extreme4 LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

this is pretty much the same motherboard $50 cheaper

  3. Yep already have a atx case reason for the i7 series I have no idea I just didn't want to upgrade for a while, as for use of this system present and future gaming use mostly. Ok I probably could of just went for the i5 I guess ignorance was bliss

  4. take a look at these, really powerful cpu. $220 atm

    Newegg.com - Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 4000 BX80637I53570K

if your looking to play new games on max settings you will probably want to get a video card. the integrated graphics (intel hd 4000) on that i5 3570k can run far cry 3 on medium at around 25fps which i dont find that bad, but if you want 50 fps on ultra settings with multiple monitors you will need it. maybe if you could sacrifice your ssd, or just save up till you can get a gtx 650/660.

  5. Nah I'm sticking with the i7. For now I will be using my old video card till I can get another one right now I just have a gts 250.
