New Camera, Cali Medical

Discussion in 'Cannabis Stash Showcase & Strain Photos' started by dandeedank, Dec 27, 2010.

  1. I got a new camera for Christmas (Canon EOS Rebel T1i) and I have no real idea on how to use it. Going to give this a try and post some pics of my Medical pickups. All of these will be from San Diego based dispensaries. If you have shooting tips let me know, I am experimenting with different settings.

  2. Looks dank, man! Mind if I ask how much you ended up paying?

  3. Well each 1/8 is $60 but they accept competitor coupons. The best ones I can find are 5 gram 1/8 or buy one 1/8 get one 50% off ($90 a quarter). You just have to be smart and use coupons and on different days so you can get the deals twice. I never pay full price for 3.5 gram 1/8. Coupons are available in the city magazine that comes out each week and is all over town.

Very nice pics for your first with a great new Canon camera! Only advice I can give is to try to use natural light (good sunlight if possible), put your camera into macro mode (on Canons it is shown as a flower on the LCD screen), and shoot using AV mode (aperture priority, where you set the f-stop and the camera sets the shutter speed), with a fairly high f-stop (5.6 or higher, for better depth of field on the buds). Great looking buds!

  5. This bud looks extra nice. Hope you enjoy toking this dank and ill enjoy dreaming about it.;)
