New Bubble Bucket CHANGE

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Indoors' started by twistedpeopz, Sep 11, 2007.

  1. What if you ran the air hose through the net pot and put it aprox. 3-6 inches below the net pot. It would be closer to the surface... more bubbles... could mean you only need a smaller air pump or the food would get there more directly and efficiently. What do you guys think?

  2. c'mon guys no one really? it is suppose to be an idea for thought...innovation

  3. You should give it a try and post your results. It might be a great thing, but you will never know unless you try it.

  4. I like your innovative style, - that's what we really should be asking rather than the 1000th+ post of "I have a 1000 watt ballest how many plants do I have to have to get 10 pounds of weed for next week?"

I have concidered your question once myself, lemme just say: The roots often rapidly out-grow the general matinence that you would (want) to give your setup.

In other words: As soon as you develop a creative way to blast the roots (at close range) the roots have already grown out and around where you last adjusted the proximity of your airstone from the plant. - Untill you have to install it to the bottom of what ever your tub, bucket, toilet, whatever it is you are growing in.

If you have developed some clever way to adjust the highth of your air source to the depth of your roots: sure! - I don't see at all why that wouldn't work.

My only critique would be: that it (initally) would require a lot of time and work that could be advoided or used elsewhere.

Otherwise, concidering the aptitude of your question you have done better than just "researching" the situation, but you are examining data and asking real questions. KEEP DOING IT!!!! You have better chances of making this an "artform" above and beyond the sleeping sheep that "follow the rules," and "Do as thier told..."

  5. I like your thinking, and creativness. I would have to agree with the other posts, as to the disadvantages.

I was thinking along the same lines, and was thinking about investing in submergable water pumps with tubing in my buckets to pump my water and nutes directly to the rootzone along with my air pumps and airstones. Any Advice?

We need more innovaters in this world, along with more DANK BUDS!!!! HA HA
