or preserve the taste and not buy a carbon filter. pick up some isopropyl alcohol ( 91% + ) and some sea salt. total cost for 10-20 cleanings = $3
you don't lose much flavor I find the only flavor you lose is the nasty ashy flavor from regular smoke which in turn makes it taste better imo. For what it does the carbon filter is a very very valuable attachment Who Dat!
i can respect that. i just dont have a problem cleaning my piece daily if need be. how often do you have to change the carbon though? i mean its cheap so not a big deal, just wondering
I usually let it sit in there for the whole session that I'm using it for so about 10 max. fat bowls before I change it but I have a lot of carbon so I change it more than I should lol. I know people who let it stay for about a month each time, depends on personal preference & quality of the rocks you buy. not my picture but you can see how useful it is. All the ash and tar stay on top of the carbon nothing dirty goes through Who Dat!
so online you can get several pounds for $30 or less. fuck it, id probably do the same if i had one. and to think, people buy smoke buddy's and carbon filters for grow ops....the fools!
Haha exactly so basically if you have a really nice bong that u want to show off & keep it always clean get a carbon filter probably the best investment I've made towards my RooR besides the diffuser Who Dat!
