Hey guys i just picked up my new bong today, after reading and talking with fellow forum members i took the leap and it was not disappointing. It cost me 20$ w/ the slide, and i picked up an orange Bic Its not teh biggest bong, put its got a nice feel and length to it. You can really get ripped on it without having a whitey or anything so its nice, and + it milks like a dream. I'm gonna go pick up a screen for it, anyone know anything about bootleg ones? anyways ... Dabs to the forum and its members
i posted my home made power aid bottle bong a few days ago. I'm putting together one from a glass storage jar (like a mason jar) with brass fittings. need a matching brass screen, i'll fire it up tommorrow after i get something, i'll post pictures when i'm done
because you don't need a screen.why get glass then put metal in it? If your gonna get one even though you don't need one get a glass screen.
man, i was so pissed off when i dropped my glass screen down the toilet (don't even ask) But once i was forced to pack without one, I got used to it. Seriously, give it a few weeks packing without and you wont feel like you need one, trust me. Packing bowls is an art form.. Bigger bit at the bottom, check the air flow, then grind up the rest, put it on top and then top off with a layer of kief. I got it down to half a min max.
A glass screen would be your best bet but you really don't need one for that bowl it looks plenty small enough. I still have and use the original glass screen they sent me when i bought my roor almost 12 years ago. The bowl they sent me just broke this summer, dropped it on the downstem of the roor an snapped it right in half. Then just to test how strong it was i dropped it from about 6 feet up onto a rock an the damn thing just bounced off it. In a dire situation a small pebble will work.
Shiiittttt, 12 years man. Thats beast. i lost mine a few months after I got it with my Bub. They probably are easier to use but you dont wanna be stranded at a party, unable to smoke because you havent got your glass screen. Each to his own though, i'm sure i'd still use mine if i had it.
I doubt you'll need a screen for that bowl, and with enough resin build up it will hold your bud in place if falling through is an issue. Nice piece btw, my first bong was nowhere near as nice and it cost me twice as much.
Pick up some glass screens. I don't loose mine frequently anymore, but it's true, you can loose them quickly. They kinda bounce on the carpet. Simple solution though, just keep an ashtrey around. After you take a hit, remove the screen and keep it somewhere safe. I use a shot glass. Haven't lost a screen in months. But unless you can really see an issue with your bud falling through the bowl, that bowl seems fairly narrow, idk if you NEED a screen.
Those types of bowls dont need it. Just suck it through and change your water. Get a toothpick to clean it and leave the resin on it. I just clean mine with a tooth pick maybe alcohol every couple of months.
Yup the chambers ma small, but when it milk and u take out the slide all the smoke shoots into your mouth, u get mad ripped
whoa, i just finally logged back onto the forums (they have different password and logon than the normal grasscity. anyway, here's my baby: the pipes are 1/4 inch (so extra expensive because they areso small and there for the stores sell less of them). not too many people make bongs out of brasspipe. i should upload video of it going, the nebulizer bowl thatbubbles looks beautiful. The only thing is the small areas of pipe can get pluggedwith tar. just need some bong hygiene from time to time.
