New Bong Help

  1. Im planning on upgrading from my china glass(hits decent, but its fragile. already cracked from a 3 foot drop) to a good quality american glass piece. I know I want scientific, not heady. I dont transport it, so weight is no big deal (it could be 20 lbs for all I care). Id like it to be at least 5mm, no less, because Im clumsy. I dont drop it often, but accidents happen, and I need a forgiving piece. Diffusion is appreciated, but not necessary.
I was looking at the Grav Labs Helix Nano, which is only 100 on SC, but Ive heard theyve switched to china glass, which is a no go
Theres also these two from the GC site, but 70$ for 9mm boro seems kinda sketchy
I was also considering the Great Beaker from SSFG, but Im not seeing a lot about the glass quality.

Ive looked at Aqua and EDIT, but didnt see much that tickled me

BTW, Im trying to stay under 150 (shipping included)

    Any suggestions?

  2. price might be an issue with this, but hbg is my go to brand. i have two and they're both awesome. sheldon blacks are rad as well

  3. Even if the GC and (maybe) Helix are made of China Glass, 9mm is 9mm right? It says its Boro glass, how bad could it be? (im actually asking, is it bad?)

  4. china glass is a term for shitty glass. if it's boro it's probably quality
    and yeah 9mil is 9mil is 9mil

  5. Boro glass is good quality normally, and 9mm, yeh, that should be damn solid ! Depends on construction too
