New Bong And Modifications?

    13", 8 arm tree perc, $150 from local headshop.

    But as soon as I started peeling the price tag off, the color started peeling off. I finally just took off all the shitty colored coating and (IMO) it looks a lot better:

    (Ran out of isoalc, I apologize for half assed cleaning)

    I'm digging the clearness but I'm thinking of making this bong sweet, getting a nice heady ash catcher next paycheck, & painting on the base some sort of trippy design integrated into the newfound visibility of the bubblin'.
    Thoughts?

    Unfortunately around where I live, every headshop is absurdly expensive. I was actually surprised at the quality of it for $150, but the colored coating chipping pissed me off at first. Luckily I like it a lot better now for aesthetic and practical purposes.
    Not sure where you can get a bong like that for apparently $50 but please point me in that direction.

    yeah some states are like that. florida's pretty fucking bad too, they tax china pieces up the ass. something like what you got would've been around 150 also but if you know the headshop guy from other purchases or try to bring the price down a little, i'm sure they would, especially since you're a chick. i think you could've gotten away with it for 100 personally
     
    i think it looks better without the color too. they were just odd colors especially with the perc having that yellow-ish tint. i wouldn't suggest you add an ash catcher cause it might look too... clunky. also the drag. but definitely pimp it out with some (permanent) paint!! let us see the result if you follow through with it. good luck

    In Ontario you can get this for one fiddy. My homies bong: 18" 7mm thick, inline stem with honey comb perculator for 100, Then the honeycomb ashcatcher was 50. My favorite bong out of any of mine or my friends.

    It was my first time at this headshop but I also bought a nice vape at the same time & spent a pretty decent amount so hopefully I'll befriend headshop employees on my next trip ;)

    there you go! discounts await  :smoking: btw..try sticking with the vape only for like a week. if you're a daily toker that is. seriously, i've been waking up way less groggy and tired and it's all due to my vape. i never gave it this long of a chance. well worth it. happy toking either way
