28% increase seems like a lot of inflation, but it really isn't. Think of how much it cost that China shop to make that piece. Probably cost them pennies. So the wholesale purchaser is really making the massive markk up. Then the shop keep on top of that. Yeah sure it traveled all the way from China, but so does 85% of everything else. Wanna talk about inflation I used to work at walmart, and when we used a price gun that the employees had, it showed the increase of cost in %. You wouldn't believe how much they mark stuff up lol Toys were the worst. Goddamn action figure had a 1500% mark up... Just stupid. I definitely agree. Could get a solid american made boro piece for $50 for sure. Problem is everyone doesn't have access to the product, and sometimes you just don't want to wait. I personally wouldn't buy that bong, but to each their own. Yeah you wouldn't believe the mark up on some of the stuff you buy in a retail setting. my buddy i go to, has china glass and american glass bongs. the only thing china glass was the bowl.... i replaced the bowl, ill post pics of the new one, i got a US glass bowl
