never had bud like this before

    So I picked up some headies, clearly headies by the look and smell. I'd say it had the strongest "haze" smell of any bud I've ever smoked before, looks really nice, dark green fluff and looong red hairs. First thing I notice after breaking up a couple grams is that I've picked out FOUR seeds. Strange I think but didnt think too much of it, just excited about growing some for myself. Deffinately the stickiest bud I've pinched apart in a long time.

    Skip to the packed bowl.. I take a large hit and I get the strangest taste, a full bodied pine flavor, very strange. Smoked extremely smooth.

    But the bad part: this 25/g headies (that looked and smelled the part, minus the strange presence of seeds) hardly got me high at all. :confused:

    So any thoughts on what happened here? I'm thinking that this is just some home grown from someone who doesnt know what he's doing, but its still a mystery to me.

    It seemed like this bud was the "freshest" ive ever broke apart, judging from the stickiness and fluffiness and ripe smell. I've heard that there is a process of "curing" the bud after trimming it from the plant but I dont know the details, maybe they snipped the bud and sold it right away?

    well if it had seeds it was touched by a male and stopped producing thc and went into seed production.

    yea thats what happens, but the seeds getting to it shouldnt have that effect on the weed.all like that. i think its possible the weed was too fresh. needs to dry/cure.

    o ye if u still have it yea just leave the bag open for a few hours, that should dry it up and make it smoke better, probably will taste less smooth than when u first smoked it. if that is the problem, that should fix it. btw welcome to grasscity!
