Net Pod and Bucket size? NOOB HELP

  1. Hello All, simple question, What is the best size net pod for a 4x4 hydroponic grow with 4-5 plants would it be around 10 gal buckets each? Now, I bought the 3" net pods thinking it wouldn't make a difference because my bucket size is large for the roots. Am I right?

Do I get 6" net pods? what size buckets do you suggest then?
Or am I better off to grow 10 plants in a single 25-40 gal bucket? Or 4 plants in 5 gal buckets?

    Unsure. Thanks all

  2. I use 5 gallon buckets and 6 inch net pods. I only had 2 plants and they filled my 4×4 tent. I'd rather go with less plants and actually let them fill out vs having 4 or more fight for space. Plus with more plants you have the potential of air circulation issues since the tent is jam packed with foliage. Lots of guys on here can fill a tent with one plant. More isn't always better imo.
