Nepalese black resin - Q&A

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by Warlock, Apr 16, 2006.

  1. Quite a while ago my dad went to Amsterdam & brought me back some Nepalese resin, it was soft, like play dough, & very oily. It stuck to the inside of the bag & left oil residues on it.

I'm not usually one to smoke resins, as I love green juicy buds too much, but this stuff from Nepal was great.

I was wondering is this a typical thing to come from Nepal? Is it popular in other areas, such as the UK? Is it readily available? What other names does it go by?

    Much appreciated for replies

  2. What you're refering to is called Hashish or hash for short. You can read more about it here

It is available in the UK but the quality is very very poor and as such is sometimes refered to as "soapbar". If you can find a good supplier then you're very lucky.

  3. I've seen hash & I've smoked it a few times, but usually it is rock solid.
Are you saying that the squashy oily stuff was just good quality hash?

  4. Depending on where it comes from it will be of a different consistancy. Hash can be very hard and doesn't break easily or it can be like what you had.
