Negatives to having a mmj card?

Discussion in 'Medical Marijuana Usage and Applications' started by DrPhilosophy, Jan 2, 2013.

  1. Just wondering if there are any consequences or negatives to having a mmj card?
A friend of mine told me that if you do get one, in the future if you ever got divorced your wife would get custody of the kids if you guys had a custody battle.
    Sounds like bullshit but idk

  2. "weed is a schedule 1 drug" so you tell me its fucked up but yeah. IF they find out they will treat you like a heroine junkie that got found out.

  3. Medical records are protected, and using them in a divorce seems like a breech of privacy. So i would assume they cant use any of your health records against you. Its one thing if they caught you smoking around your kids, but just based on the fact you had a rec. seems like bull.

  4. Your friends will ask you for medicine, but you will tell them no

  5. I dont know, word from my friend in Cali is the best bud is always in the streets

  6. In Arizona, maybe everywhere?, you cannot own or buy a gun

  7. cannot own or buy a gun, and you will have 0 job protection. as far as drug testing and everything you will be on youre own. it really just keeps you out of jail and thats about it.

  8. Keeps you from getting fucked in the butt duh....

  9. Being on a list is never productive, but we're on a lot of lists anyways so fuck it.

Doctor: Sir, I have good news and bad news.

Patient: What's the good news, doc?

Doctor: You can now smoke cannabis medicinally.

Patient: Wow! Thanks, doc. What's the bad news?

    Doctor: It's already legal.

  11. Cancers not funny. Hope nobody you love ever gets it. :(

  12. Changed the punchline because yeah, that's pretty fucked up.

From my experience, the bud on the street is just bud that wouldn't pass for medicinal quality or came from the dispensaries.

  13. Always smoke top shelf at dispensaries, or you'll have fucked up lungs down the road IMO

  14. You have to make sure that your ID card is in the BACK of your wallet, so when you are looking for the right credit card, you won't accidentally pull your MMJ card out! lol

  15. So granny are there any negatives to having a mmj card?

  16. Yeah that makes sense

  17. Haha I'll avoid telling friends if I do get it.

  18. Using your protected patient privacy in court against you would be a major violation. In AZ the state runs and controls those records (30,000+ and counting!!!!) so if your records were leaked somehow then you could probably sue the shit out of someone.

I'm a patient and I grow. So I'm saving 1000's of $$$ now by not buying medicine. I am, however, spending money on growing supplies and a little extra electricity but what's that in the long run?

My money is being spent on American produced buds by American pharmers like myself. No more money to terrorists or crime syndicates.

As for being on a list...really? Your rights are protected, as much as people want to believe we don't have any in this great country, we do. We're on so many lists it's not even funny. Your URL and handle are stored on a list somewhere. Conspiracy theories are everywhere....
