Neem Oil Mixture Ratio?

Discussion in 'Sick Plants and Problems' started by xBlue Dream, Dec 10, 2018.

  1. Hey everyone.

Last week, I found thrips in my grow tent. They only appeared on one plant (out of 5), so I moved the other four into the closet with their own MH bulb for now.

It's been a week now. The thrips don't appear to be spreading (the spots haven't moved, and I haven't spotted an actual thrip for about 3 days now), and I'm thinking my low humidity (10% or less) is helping a bit. The rest of the plants are still thrip free (for now), and my order of neem oil and garden sprayer has just arrived.

So, how much neem oil am I using (plus dishwashing soap) per litre of water? Or per gallon? I can do the extra maths if necessary. I read a recipe that called for 1tsp of neem oil per litre of water. Does that sound reasonable?

Picture of infected plant for context.
