I just need confirmation that my setup is perfect or if I need to make changes. All criticism and questions welcome! Thanks in advance
You could definitely lower the light some and do you have an intake opened up? What's the fan up top in the picture for? I can't really see if it's connected to anything. If it's connected to the intake are you pushing air through the carbon filter? You want the air getting pulled through the filter... here's my setup nothing fancy just a budget grow Grow journal
The fan at the top needs to be used for extraction but I got lost after connecting it to the carbon filter. If hot air is supposed to be sucked out the tent, it should be connected from the fan to the outside instead of the tent correct? I had a feeling how I had it(hot air to carbon filter-hot air) wasn't correct. Appreciate your reply! Your plants look amazing so far!
You should have ducting going outside of the tent... a fan inside the tent connected to that ducting pushing air out... and on the other side of that inline fan you want another connector connecting the fan to the filter to the filter is the last item connected... that away the air gets pulled through the filter and into the fan. And thanks just doing the best I can with what I got Grow journal
Thank you, I just needed to hear that from somebody lol can't trust your self as a new grower these days. Another thing, how am I measuring the length between the light and plants? I have them at 32' from the ceiling to the light, is this correct? Or it from the light to the plants?
It's a special queen #1 royal queen seed genetics. Also I'd recommend keeping the LED 26" from the plants not the ceiling.... I'll go as low as 16" towards the end of flower and as lower as 8-12" in flower. Granted your light is stronger so you may have to keep it at around 14-16" idk you'll just have to find the sweet spot as you grow. Grow journal
Again, appreciate it! Looking pretty good, can't wait till I see that type of progress. And wow smh this forum is definitely a life saver, I rather get the answers/advice from an experienced grower than stress the plants by showing me what they need
Yeah I learned that the hard way haha I was a little late joining but it definitely change everything once I actually started reading the forums and watching grow journals Grow journal
