So many people ask for help naming their piece, but man, it has to come from you! Smoke it, and then see what comes to you. Trying to name it without use, or without knowing the effects of the piece makes the name...nothing more than a name. Personally, I try to gauge what sort've high the piece gives me, and the characteristics. The last piece I named, my handmade mini spoon, was named Ember due to the melted red glass on the top that slightly covered the piece. (Like a small flame, but not a full on fire) Coupled with the fact that since it is ceramic it cherries for such a long time without having to be relit, holding an ember. So, I dunno, I may put too much thought into names, but once you find that perfect name, you feel as if you've accomplished something.
