Yo could someone help me diagnose these plants.. I have three short riders that have been flowering for some weeks now. They are doing ok, but more and more older fan leaves are turning yellow, some with brown spots. I was thinking it was under fertilization, but now i might think otherwise. The first six pictures are of the short riders.. The next two are my super lemon haze, its pretty much stopped growing and its leaves aren't looking that good. The last picture is of my afghan kush, drooping leaves.. Still looking really fresh, just stopped growing and drooping leaves. I really dont think its over watering cause im careful of that. This is pretty much my first real grow. All the plants are grown in a tent, 600w hps, temps are 25-28 C, all organic, canna terra professional soil with canna nutes. Please help me guys
O.k first thing if you havent already, the first six pics, check the runoff ph and make sure your not pot bound. Pic 7 and 8 have the claw thing going which a lot of times is overfert, however the yellowing between veins reminds me of a deficiency, thats why p.h first. Last pic either nitrogen overfert or phosphorus deficient. Sorry I can't help more man.
Thanks for your reply. I actually dont have a ph checker thingy... Ill get one as soon as possible cause i know its really important. I flushed the 3 short riders, seems that actually helped cause they stopped getting worse since. I should probably flush the others also? The super lemon haze (pic 7-8) is pretty weak and some of the leaves have like a dark green stroke around them, like around the leafs veins its light green, everything else is a much darker green. Its pretty hard to see at the pics. Anyone know what that could be? The afghan kush (last pic) is doing better, the leaves arent hanging anymore.. well the first two sets are hanging a bit, still its much better. But its done this a few times now. Sometimes the leaves start drooping for days, then one day theyre much better, then its back drooping.. Wtf?
Dude they look good. get a ph meter and a ppm meter. you are obviously undernuting some, burning others and your ph is off on some. water, water or flush the claw pic. the others make sure ph of nute solution is 6.5 and ppm750-900. check your runoff to see the acidity of the medium. if it is more acidic than the solution you put in, ph is tooo low. if the runoff ph is more alkaline than the nute solution your ph in the medium is too high. if it comes out at 6.5 you are perfect.
Thanks man. Yeah, thats what i was thinking also.. but i havent been giving them different strength nutes (i think, but maybe i have). Or the different strains react differently to the nutrients. Cause I think every strain has different problems.
No meter = deficiencies in your plants. Spend the money and get one it will be become your best friend!!! If you cant get a digital meter at least get drops or something. The eagle clawing is def N overdose in the earlier stages, if you dont get it now it will wreck your plant. Its pretty clawed so looks like its well on the way into N overdose. Ease up on the clawed one, flush it good a few times and GET A METER.
