For some reason I've always been very sensitive, which makes me concerned because I've heard vaporizers intensify everything. Even if I've been smoking 24/7 for some time, one big hit off a fresh bowl can make me feel unpleasant and dizzy. If I haven't smoked in a while, I just take a very light hit and I'm good. So my concern comes down to vaping too much herb at once. Is this an unfounded fear? Are you able to just put a tiny bit in a bowl at once, or does it need to be packed? Should I go for a vape with a tiny bowl, or wont the size matter? Any advice would be helpful. I don't care about portability btw.
You can vape just about any amount as long as there are THC and CBD's in it. Find your sweet spot. Take a look at vape chambers and their sizes and choose your poison.
You could get something like the Firewood Vaporizer and take one or two hits and keep the weed in the bowl for later.
Ok... To the OP, you sound like a good person to use the MFLB (Magic Flight Launch Box). You don't have to pack up the trench all the way full and it typically uses a small amount of herb to begin with. Also the hits are short and sweet because it heats up pretty quickly (5 secs). I haven't heard anyone being afraid of vaping.... but since you're moving from smoking to vaping, you will enjoy the high. Because, when you smoke, you're getting other chemicals because of the combustion. So, instead of just getting a nice herb high, you're also getting carbon monoxide which has a high of its own, and whatever else is released. So definitely give it a shot... you won't be disappointed. Yosh - Thanks to you I've spent the last 2 hours researching the Firewood. I'm definitely picking one of those things up. I don't really need another vape right now, but I do love supporting vapes that are made in the USA. I also love the wooden look of the device itself. But, for the price, I'm definitely grabbing one in the next couple of weeks.
I'll second the Magic Flight Launch Box. Small, compact, stealthy, and like ren.dnb said, you don't have to pack it full and can see quite well how much you're smoking. Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I was close to buying the MFLB at one point, but never did. At least if it doesn't work out, I see many used units going on ebay. So I'm about to pull the trigger, but think I'll leave it open a bit if anyone else has any recs. Wish there was someone else in my odd predicament. lol
