need vap advice

    We just got a vap (small box with digital display and knob). We were told that the optimum temp is ~360, but this vap digital read only goes up to 260 and at that temp there is definite smoke. Do we have a different kind of vap? What is the optimum temp?

    Maybe I am just weird but I know when I do the home made vap with the stove here at my apartment the temp is 190 and that does it just fine.
