i had a autoflower white russian witch i really want to surivive germinating for about 1 day , for unexpected reason i wasnt able to be home for 4 days i came home and noticed the water was very cold the whole time because of the area i left it in, it was germinating inside a tin full of tons of paper towel's i notice the seed is half popped but he root is not out yet, is there a chance the cold water has killed the seed ? , i instantly changed the water to warm and put it inside a ziplock bag and im praying this baby lives , its new storage area is warm
this is one of the most pointless exercises in growing. if you're growing soil then just put the seed in the soil, if you're growing hydro then just put it in the r/w. thousands of years of evolution has produced the seed without the need of a damp paper towel but if you want to add this extra step, nothing i can do about it. and NO the seed isn't dead.
