so i have a problem, i dont want it to become a major issue. im sure many of you have encountered this problem and hopefuly come up with easy enough solutions. heres a little information to go on.. grow space is 130cm, 70cm, 50cm. 1 outake fan, bathroom outtake. humidifier. passive intake into room. fan within to circulate air. with a 125w cfl im at a comfertable 70-74 degrees. however, when i put in my 250w cfl tempreture raised about 10 degrees...doing my baby tomatoes some damage. im thinking maybe put a couple of frozen bottles of water in there, in a vain attempt to drop the temps. anyone come up with an easier, more sustainable way to keep tempretures down? for the record, im on a pretty low budget. cheapest and simplest is best for me.
If this really is a question about tomatoes im gonna be no help... But if I'm not mistaking, 85 degrees isnt that terrible as long as it doesnt get too much warmer. maybe move the light away from the "tomatoes" a little to reduce plant burn since you're doubling output you will certainly generate more heat. also try using a small ocilating fan $12-15 max.
ha ha, i guess talking about tomatoes is pointless on a site called grasscity. na, its about weed. cheers for easing the worry.
i think 40 cfm.took out the carbon filter of the passive intake, seems to have done the job. cheers for the help though people
