Looking for help identifying what is most likely multiple deficiencies. I ooked at sick plant charts but I'm having trouble determining exactly what the issue is. I'll start with some details. 4 Plants 21 days into flower. Organic Soil. Lights - 600 Watt HPS Temp - 75F - 80F lights on. 65F - 70F lights off. Been occasionally letting it drop to 60f for a couple hours PH hangs out around 6.8 Flushed October 20th. Fed 15 - 30 - 15 on the 25th Watered with just plain tap water on the 30th. Due for another feeding tomorrow. Been including cal-mag with the feedings Had fungus gnat issues, but was able to resolve that by allowing plants to dry out.. haven't had an issue since I begun flowering. Affected leaves are only on the bottom of the plant. The top of the plant still looks quite healthy. See pics. You'll notice some leaves curled down, that issue only seems to be present on one of the plants.... Sorry if I left out any needed info, Please let me know if I did I appreciate any help anyone is willing to provide.
I can't decide if I should flush, or feed. It looks like there might be a nitrogen toxicity.. with some other deficiencies.. which may be the result of using 15 - 30 - 15 nutes... Can anyone confirm or deny my suspicions? Thanks.,
I had the same exact problem my friend, i flushed, cut back on nutes and it is happy. My lower fan leaves woulf fold under from the side like yours, upside doen canoe shape, and i also had spotting, randown leaf tears, burnt spots, and some had light color changes on the leaves. I have a white widow and bubblelicious plant, the bubblelicious us the worst whike the ww tolerated it better. Heres my pics bro
That's great to hear! I actually ended up flushing last night. I'm glad I made the right decision lol. Thanks for your input! I'll keep you posted on whether or not the flushing helped for me as well!
The first pic is the bad one and the 2nd is the white widow. These were taken about 4 days after flushing
Those pics were from the 3rd day of 3rd week of flowering and im hoping my yield is better than my last grow. I only got roughly 1.75 ounces per plant last go round
So we're still struggling.. The discoloration is taking over. One strain is struggling more than the other. I've watered with calmag. I did some light foliar feeding aswell... Water pH is 6.8... Runoff comes out at aorund 6.5 Any other suggestions? Things seem to be getting worse quick. All of that said, the plants are progressing quite well.. the buds are growing nicely.
I should point out, the camera flash is exaggerating the color. The leaves aren't actually that light
I don't mean to rude or presumptuous, but I don't understand why you're posting this in this sickness forum and why you call it serious this for serious that or whatever. I don't have a trained eye and maybe there's something evil lurking but i just don't see the big problem here. I get an email when you post something new so here I am again listening to what I can only describe as manufactured whining. What's the point. "The grow is a disaster, but otherwise it's going great...." Please. I beg you to stop.
What are you even going on about? We've already acknowledged that my topic title was a little over dramatic. Get over it. Obviously there is an issue. Yes the plants are still doing well(for now), but there's an issue, which is getting worse and I'm looking for help in identifying it... In the sick plants section of the forum. There's also been some people who actually posted things that were helpful, or at least made suggestions,, so here I am providing an update on my situation.. maybe they'd like to see said update.. maybe someone else, who also might have some useful input might chime in as well. If you've no interest or insight on this situation, unfollow the post, and don't click on it the next time you see it. Thanks.
I believe I may be dealing with root aphids. I'm on day 30 of flower. One plant is showing issues top to bottom. I may be fucked for that one plant since I've still got a while to go. Going to try a couple things but if anyone has any suggestions, Im open to hearing them. Also I take it back. My topic title was not over dramatic. This issue is quite serious.
Well my friend i can say i am in the same boat and i commented earlier in the thread. My problem has seemed to either stabilize or maybe slightly worse but my buds are swelling up nicely and the plants seem happy. I did add some crushed egg shells and epsom salts to last watering. I will water with fertilizer tonight and my problem maybe potassium or phosphorus deficiency. I maybe paranoid though, as well as you, all i can suggest is keep a eye on them. Im not gonna try to do anything unless they show signs of more damage. I think we expect perfect looking plants but i think you said you were pretty new as well as I. In time we will achieve our goal of great looking plants. Im gonna try my hand at organic mix soil so i no longer have to mess with ferts. Im on week 5 of flowering and my buds are the biggest any of my grows have been at this stage. Other 2 times i had to cut down early cause i was moving, and the 2nd grow i came home from vacation to plants on the doorstep to death and had to harvest 2 weeks early. This time they will grow till the end and I'll keep you updated. Good luck. Sometimes when we try to fix 1 thing it cause another problem so i am doing nothing for now
