This is my first time growing of course. I'm not very familiar with terms and such. I have two beautiful plants, started from seed in late April. Growing outdoors in pots in a trusted and private location. They look good to me but I'm a total noob. I've had some yellow and brown spots come up as well as some yellow leaves. I've sort of just pot them in pots and let them do their own thing. Occasionally I'll clip a bad leaf. One plant has been nice and healthy from the beginning and I'm thinking it's a girl! The other has been a bit if a runt. It just doenst seem as...hardy? No signs of sex. Also, it has purple stems and has always had them. Not sure where the seeds came from but both plants look and smell totally different. So do they look good? Am I doing this thing right? Anything you see that I should look out for? Disclaimer: also a first-time grower, take everything with a grain of salt. Looks like a female to me (answering your filename question) Someone else can correct me if I'm wrong, but the drooping might be a result of excessive watering. Yellowing can also result. How often and how much do you typically water? Again, I don't have growing experience but I've been spending a lot of time reading books and forums like these.
The tend to droop in the afternoon and evening (which is when i took these pics) but in the morning they are usually perked up. I water every 2 to 3 days and try to keep them out of rain. I water them until water drains from the bottom. Thank you, any help is appreciated!
I think that's a bit too much water. Try holding back some, just water when the top half inch or so is dry. Edit: just realized what I quoted contradicted my own advice...
I water when the top inch is dry but it does sound like I might be over doing it just a bit. I'll try to cut back and see
